Annual pumpkin smash this Sunday

Watch Langford firefighters drop pumpkins from a 105 foot ladder

With another Halloween come and gone, Langford Fire Rescue has its sights set on smashing those leftover pumpkins.

The local department is hosting its annual Pumpkin Smash this Sunday (Nov. 5) in the Millstream Village parking lot, 2401 Millstream Rd., from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Come watch firefighters drop pumpkins by donation from a 105-foot ladder.

All donations are going to muscular dystrophy and the Langford Volunteer Firefighters’ Association’s benevolent fund.
