Quality Foods’ Waterside Square store in Parksville has earned a Canadian Master Merchandiser National Gold Award as part of the Independent Grocer of the Year Awards program.
The honour was accepted by Quality Foods partners Ken Schley and John Briuolo at the Oct. 18 Canadian Federation of Independent Grocer’s annual awards dinner in Toronto. The award recognizes excellence in effective merchandising, community involvement and building strong relationships between retailers and suppliers. The company has two stores on the West Shore.
