Looking for spot to grab a coffee and a cone for the kids while you’re getting your oil changed?

A Starbucks, Dairy Queen and Great Canadian Oil Change are part of plans for a development at the corner of Millstream Road and Treanor Avenue in Langford. The three businesses on the three-acre lot make up the first phase of the project and should be completed by fall 2019, said Phil Leedham, project manager for Metropolitan Capital Partners, a local real estate investment company.

Plans for the next two phases have not been finalized, but will include a mix of residential and commercial, noted Leedham. The company sold the rear portion of the property a little more than a year ago, paving the way for a 130-unit residential project currently under construction.
