More than a month removed from winning the most important game in recent club history, the Vancouver Island Soccer League Div. 3A champion Juan De Fuca men are about to find out who their opening round opponent will be in the upcoming provincial championships.

The draw for the Keith Millar Cup men’s B provincials was delayed until this week, to allow leagues with numerous weather-related cancellations to finish out their schedules and determine which teams will advance.

Juan de Fuca, whose March 10 victory over the Gorge-Us Guys at Hampton Park gave the West Shore side the division 3A title – they earned promotion to Div. 2 for next season – as well as a berth in the Millar Cup tournament, will find out who they play and where when Soccer B.C. holds the draw Thursday (April 13) on the mainland.

The B tournament is expected to get underway the weekend of April 21 to 23, leading up to the championship match, to be played on the May 27-28 weekend.
