Re. Fire hall estimated to cost $8 million, May 9
Being a resident of View Royal, I have not received enough information about paying for the new fire hall. More information about raising property taxes is needed. Residents who do not approve of the loan of $8 million have until July 11 to submit a form that is being mailed out – 770 forms are need to force a referendum, so I encourage resident to force city hall to provide more information about alternatives.
Remember they say its $130 a year for 25 years on our taxes. Let’s get more information.
