It was nice to have a thank you for smart meter patience from B.C. Hydro. But, I had to laugh about their usual excuses about higher rates.
The classic one is “It’s been a cold winter.” According to the weather bureau, it has been the warmest winter for many years.
So who is fibbing here? I know some people who say they have been in Florida for the winter but come home to a big B.C. Hydro bill.
