The incident took place in the early morning hours of March 17 and according to West Shore RCMP, two men were involved in a verbal argument that led to a physical confrontation outside the Langford business.

According to a CFB Esquimalt post, the four sailors were out having a relaxing evening when they heard a noise like water pouring on the ground. That’s when they realized it was blood and used their training to start administering first aid on the victim while calling for an ambulance.

One of the sailors was able to get a description and a name of the suspect.
