Two 16-year olds were arrested early this morning after being caught knocking down a street sign, jumping on the hoods of cars and kicking off their mirrors.

The vandalism complaint came in from the 2800 block of Peatt Road in Langford at around 2:10 a.m.

“The prompt call to police with a detailed description of the suspects allowed officers to make an arrest immediately,” said Const. Alex Berube, spokersperson for the West Shore RCMP.

The two young males were released to the care of their parents with a promise to appear in court on Aug. 9.
