Two people were taken to hospital following a single-vehicle incident on a Trans-Canada Highway off ramp in Langford early Monday afternoon.

The westbound vehicle was exiting the TCH in the left lane of the Millstream Road off ramp at about 1 p.m. Langford Fire Rescue assistant chief Chris Aubrey said it appears the driver over-corrected on the sweeping curve, hit the barrier and got turned around, ultimately landing in the ditch at the base of the rock wall on the right side pf the lane.

The two occupants were being attended to by bystanders when emergency responders arrived. Langford firefighters and West Shore RCMP managed traffic while the people were taken to hospital, suffering from undetermined injuries.
