Two people were arrested after RCMP executed a search warrant at a Barrow Road home in Metchosin.
The RCMP Street Crime Unit seized 157 marijuana plants and a loaded, sawed-off 22 caliber rifle.
A 47-year-old man and 38-year-old woman were in the home and arrested.
The home was formerly licensed for growing medical marijuana, but the licence had expired.
The West Shore RCMP would like anyone who suspects a marijuana grow-op in their neighbourhood to call the detachment at 250-474-2264.
