Police seize 18 bags of suspected pot

A drug trafficking investigation in Langford has led to the seizure of 18 plastic bags of suspected marijuana.

Police initiated a traffic stop with a pickup truck on June 16 just after noon at 835 Langford Pkwy. Eighteen bags of marijuana were discovered, totalling nearly 10 pounds.

A 45 year-old Mill Bay man is facing drug-related charges and has been released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 5 of this year.
