A Victoria man is in hospital after being hit by a bus last night on the Trans Canada HIghway in View Royal.
West Shore RCMP were called shortly after 9 p.m. on Oct. 3 for a pedestrian struck by a transit bus in the south bound lane of the highway just south of Helmcken Road.
Police say witnesses indicate the 22 year old stepped in front of the bus. RCMP say the man is in hospital with serious but apparently non life threatening injuries.
