Anglers enjoy fishing off Craigflower Bridge catching herring, which is used as bait for halibut.

The first herring was caught on Jan. 9 this year. One of the anglers has been fishing the Gorge since he was four (about 30 years ago) and says there are fewer fish every year. All the anglers said they are looking forward to the new bridge that is scheduled to be built this year. The new bridge will include a fishing platform closer to the water, making it easier for anglers to reel in their catch.
