West Shore RCMP are seeking a Colwood man who has been missing since March 23.

Charles Drake Mackie, 51, drove away from his Colwood home in a dark blue 2001 Toyota Echo, with B.C. license plate number 093 GPA.

He suffers from a number of medical conditions, police say, but he didn’t take his medicine.

Mackie enjoys the outdoors and has been known in the past to go on hikes or visit area beaches. He has also been known to travel to Edmonton, Alta., to visit family. He has also been known to leave home for periods of time (for up to a week in length), returning on his own.

He is described as heavy set with a dark complexion, 185 cm tall (six feet), 113 kg (249 lbs.), short black hair and brown eyes.

West Shore RCMP is requesting that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Charles Mackie or the dark blue 2001 Toyota Echo, BC plate number 093 GPA are asked to call police at 250-474-2264 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
