The Westshore Rebels football club and the Langford McDonald’s on Millstream Road raised just over $5,500 for Ronald McDonald House and Janeece Place on May 7’s McHappy Day.
The fast food chain hosted the national fundraising event to raise money for Ronald McDonald houses and other children’s charities.
Players, coaches and staff from the Rebels organization came out to meet the community and raise funds for the good cause.
