View Royal council has approved spending around $187,000 on safety improvements at the intersection of Island Highway and Admirals Road.
The work will include revising traffic signal phasing, improving road markings and repaving much of the intersection.
The work will be done during the late stages of construction on the new Craigflower Bridge, which is set to be completed in late May.
