No matter what your interest, there’s plenty of fun spring break activities planned on the West Shore for next week.

City Centre Park in Langford is offering day camps for five to 15 year olds. The camps include ice skating, rollerblading, field sports, pond fishing and kayaking. The camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with before and after care available. Parents can enrol their children for the entire week or selected days.

“Every year our camps are getting busier. Our spring break camps are the same as our summer camps,” said City Centre spokesperson Kristin St. Cyr.

City Centre Park has other drop-in activities through the week including Playzone, mini golf and dry-floor sports. “We have a lot of diversity here and have something for everyone.”

At West Shore Parks and Recreation, a variety of day camps and drop-in activities are planned.

The pool offers public swimming from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday and toonie skates Monday from 10:30 to 11:20 a.m. and Friday from 12 :30 to 1:30 p.m.

“We look forward to welcoming families during spring break that are looking for something fun to do with their children,” said Sandy Clarke, manager of recreation. “Our drop-in schedules are changed to offer more public swimming sessions, and toonie skates offer a low-cost opportunity to get active with your child.”
