ReStore in Langford benefits from gingerbread art

Annual baking showcase on until Jan. 4 at The Inn at Laurel Point

The sights and smells of Christmas continue to waft through the Inn at Laurel Point during Canada’s National Gingerbread Showcase.

Gingerbread art from houses, villages and the parliament buildings to detailed, sculpted works of art can be found at the Victoria hotel.

The public is encouraged to vote for their favourite creation by making a donation to Habitat for Humanity Victoria, which operates the ReStore in Langford.

The showcase runs daily through Sunday (Jan. 4) from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Last year’s showcase raised more than $21,000.
