Lakewood elementary Grade 1 student Matthew Sheets was among the students actively taking part in a recycling game played at the school’s Earth Day assembly on Tuesday.
Students from Belmont secondary’s leadership and environmental action teams came by to make a presentation and teach the younger students about the importance of looking out for the planet’s well-being.
