Bring your boots, gloves and a lunch to Havenwood Park in Colwood this Saturday (Nov. 29) to bash some broom.
Put on by the Habitat Acquisition Trust, the event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and provides all training and tools. Free coffee and treats. Call 250-995-2428 or email volunteers@hat.bc.ca.
Access to the park is via Veterans Memorial Parkway, between Latoria Road and Cairndale Road.
