The Victoria Chapter of the Kidney Foundation of Canada is hosting a dinner at the Royal Colwood golf course on Saturday, March 1.
The 14th annual Kidneys on the Move will feature dinner, an auction and music bingo, all for a $65 ticket. Call Maureen at 250-478-6658 or Colin at 250-415-5521 for tickets.
Funds raised go towards helping cover accommodation and travel expenses for those receiving kidney transplants.
The World Kidney Day Walk will be held March 13, with participants meeting at 10:30 a.m. at the Royal Jubilee Hospital’s pharmacy (1952 Bay St.). The 30-minute walkheads down Fort Street to Foul Bay Road, ending back at the hospital.
