Weekend art shows abound on West Shore

Art is definitely in the air this weekend.

Pint-sized art is available at It’s a Small World, where Colwood’s Coast Collective hosts an art show designed to pack a lot of artistic punch into a smaller package and price point. It’s aimed at local art lovers and travellers looking to pack locally-made treasures into their suitcases to go.

Meet the artists from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday (July 26) at 3221 Heatherbell Rd. The gallery show runs July 23 to Aug. 3.

The Stinking Fish Studio Tour’s annual Summer Tour is underway, and art lovers can visit the artists where they work. The tour stops are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. now through Monday.

For more information including a full map locating all 20 studios in Metchosin and East Sooke, visit stinkingfishstudiotour.com.
